Dr. Dennis Shilling is the Information Systems Director for Northstar, Northstar Financial Supply, and General Financial Supply, the Financial Solutions Group of Ennis Inc. in Minneapolis Mn.
Dennis has a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Black Hills State College and a Masters in Computer Science from N.W.U. and has completed his Ph.D. in Information Technology through N.W.U.'s distance learning program for computer professionals. A copy of his thesis on E-Commerce can be found at: 'A Practical Guide To Creating a Unix Based Electronic Commerce Application'. Dennis has also published articles on E-Commerce Solutions in several industry related publications, and holds multiple patents and copyrights for digital printing applications used in the financial industry.
Dennis lives in western NY in a small, rural community with his wife, Pam, and his step-son Cody. He also has a daughter Lindsey, and two sons, Shawn and Andrew, two step-daughters Amy and Sara, two grand-daughters, Hilary and Hailey, and two grand-sons Drew and Hunter, and two step grandchildren Hannah and Tony. Dennis enjoys his time with his family, boating, and plays guitar on the Praise and Worship Team and is the Finance Committee Chairman of the Jamestown Church of The Nazarene. He also enjoys collecting and shooting military rifles and hand guns. Dennis is a Vietnam veteran having served in the USAF, is a member of the Porsche Club of America, the 914 Porsche Club, the Association of Information Technology Professionals, and the National Rifle Association. Dennis is also a member of the New York State Fire Police with the Busti Vol Fire Department and is an Associate Member of The NY Patriot Guard and The NY State Civilian Militia.
